Michael Ribail - Class Of 1961 VIEW PROFILE

MICHAEL RIBAIL, May 9, 1943 - October 22, 2015

Michael L. Ribail, a long-time Yakima resident was born on May 9th, 1943 in Orange, CA passed away on October 22nd, 2015. He was a medic in Vietnam, a retired postal worker, and a true cowboy at heart. He loved horses, fishing, camping, and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his mother, June Ribail, his daughter Jennifer & David McGowan, his grandchildren Elijah & Katie, his sister Jeanne & Zane Johnson, his brothers Mark & Tammi Ribail and Ray & Anita Ribail, 3 nieces, 2 nephews, 1 great-niece, 3 great-nephews, and his best friend of 60 years, Monte Richter (FUHS 1961).
He was preceded in death by his father, Edmond F. Ribail.
His graveside service was held on Friday, October 30th at the Calvary Cemetery in Yakima, WA. The family requests that donations to the VFW be made in Michael's name in lieu of flowers.

Susan Deeble (Siefkin) (1961)

If I remember right, Michael and I were classmates starting from about the third grade on. He was a sweet boy then and stayed that way. He seemed so happy to see everyone at our 50th, notwithstanding the physical challenges. Thanks to his family for letting us all know this sad news.  Susie Deeble Siefkin

Vern Lund (1961)

Mike was a neighbor, I remember him as soft spoken and red-headed.  Don't recall if he was drafted or joined up, but his military experience changed him somewhat.  Oh, and he taught pig latin to me.
