Bill Rice - Class Of 1961 VIEW PROFILE

William Edgar Rice deeply loved husband, father, grandfather and friend of so many passed away Friday, September 13th at the  age of 70. Bill has gone to be with the Lord and is no longer suffering.  He struggled 3  years waiting for a kidney transplant. Bill  was born was born April 23, 1943 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Soon after the family moved to Fullerton, California where Bill  attended school and later went on to college in Wyoming. He then joined the Marine Corp and did three tours in Vietnam. After his  service to his country Bill had several different careers during his lifetime. He was in sales and Advertising.  Later in his career Bill sold mobile homes and worked for the Post Office in Magalia, California  where he met Terrie in 1978. They have been married 20 years. Golf was Bill’s favorite sport and he first played in the 60’s when he was stationed in Hawaii with the Marine Corp. He also played Tennis professionally and was a pretty good bowler  as well. Bill Rice is survived by a loving family; his two daughters Kellee Baker (Austin), and Kacee Meldrum (Danny). Also included in his family are Terrie's children  Eric Moore (Jolene) and Kristina Vrooman (Gary). Bill and Terrie have 11  grandchildren; Randy, Faith and Aimee Baker; Grace & Nathan Meldrum; Bailey, Lilly and George Moore;  Caleb, Abi, and Rachel Vrooman.
