OBITUARY: Paul Seals was born in Aurora, Arkansas. He went to Paradise on April 21, 2015, following a 3-year illness following bladder cancer. He was the last of nine children, all of whom predeceased him. Paul is survived by Janice, his wife of 53 years, sons Ron (Diane) of Bend, Oregon, Greg (Cathy) of Longmont, Colorado, and Brock (Yvette) of Santa Cruz. He was blessed with four grandchildren and many many nieces and nephews and he loved them all quietly and dearly. Paul and Janice have lived in the San Lorenzo Valley for 45 years, during which Paul taught at and was counselor for the middle school. He loved working with students, parents and teachers alike, and never wanted to move away from the area he called home. A memorial service was held in his memory on Saturday afternoon May 16 at 11 a.m. at Twin Lakes Church in Aptos, which was their church home.
