PATRICIA L. CHRISTY,  1937 -  2014
Grace, beauty, and intellect define the memory of Patricia L. Christy
Pat was a native Orange County girl born January 17, 1937 and passed away July 24, 2014 in the presence of her daughter.
A graduate of Fullerton High School, Fullerton Community College and San Jose State University, she will be remembered by friends, colleagues, and family for her grace, intellect and business skills.
Her beauty and grace came naturally from within. Her impeccable style was a reflection of this.
She was a wonderful mother and wife; the "perfect homemaker" known for her scrumptious baking of deserts like chocolate mousse and hot berry pies, in addition to the creative recipes she would conjure up in the kitchen, like Chicken Cacciatore and Crepes with Grape Sauce!
Pat was an incredibly fit woman, who loved to ski even the Cornice at Mammoth Mountain! She played tennis for many years, walked and went to the gym daily. She in later years could be seen riding on the back of her companions' Harley!
Her love of nature was evident by her beautiful gardens, including herbs for cooking, flower arranging skills and love of animals. Pat hand fed her backyard buddy, a Blue Jay each morning before work. She loved to brush her daughter and son-in-laws kitties and dogs while visiting in Moro Bay.
Pat was also very inquisitive and could point out all of the stars and constellations in the night sky as well as tell you the botanical names of most any plant species. She was artistic and creative which she displayed at home and while teaching school at Raymond Elementary and as employed as an executive assistant.
She will be truly missed by her devoted daughter, Dianna Christy-Votaw, her son-in-law, Bob Votaw and her grand puppy Andy Votaw and all those past and present who know and loved her.
