CAROLYN MARIE HACKER ROSENQUIST

Carolyn Marie Rosenquist was born Jan. 16, 1938 in Fullerton, Calif. and passed away May 4, 2013.

Carolyn was the youngest child of Alfred Emil Julius Hacker and Marie Maren Jorgensen Iversen.

She is survived by her husband John their two sons, John and Douglas, and seven grandchildren.

A devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, she served faithfully in multiple callings in the Primary and Relief Society.

Carolyn graduated from Utah State University and taught art at Santa Ana High School when she met her husband. As a married couple they lived in California, Texas, Connecticut and Hong Kong.

They moved to Fountain Hills in 1991. She continued her interests in tennis and travel and was an active member in the Fountain Hills Arts Council, the Art League, the Fountain Hills Women's Club and the International Women’s Club of Arizona where she was past president.

She will be missed by all who knew her for her sweet spirit and positive attitude. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 10, at the Church of the Latter Day Saints, 15507 E. Bainbridge Ave., Fountain Hills, with interment to follow at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Phoenix.
