David Williams (1951)

We lived in LaHabra, and ran across each other often. I also remember his dog, "Coalie". Denton Jansen and I were out hunting one day, ran across Frosty with his dog. Coalie attacked Denton's dog.  Frosty grabbed a .22 rifle and whacked Coalie to stop the attack. The gun went off, creasing Denton's upper thigh. Not a bad wound. Those were the days when the police didn't pay attention when kids walked to and from hunting with rifles. Frosty became a man's man. I can still see him in his black leather jacket.   Dave Williams, FUHS '51
