I went to school in Yorba Linda with Roy. He had polio but did well with his disability. We danced at a performances together :) I heard that Roy was a truck driver and died in a crash going over the side on the treacherous part of north Interstate 5 sometime in the 60's.
I remember Roy's kind smile and friendly openness. I wish I knew more about both his life and death.if anyone knows more. LynneAnne Forest (Lynne Pilchard)
Roy was the first friend I made @ FUHS when I transferred from the San Fernando Valley in Jan 1957. He was such an upper body giant, played water polo and was built like a weight lifter, and had the tips of his medline crutches filled with lead for "defensive" purposes. He died in an auto crash, hitting a bridge abutment, in 1958.
