Dina and I frequently spent time together. When she became ill in high school, she missed a lot of school, but finally attended graduation in a wheel chair. She rallied and went to Fullerton Community College, was a Woman of Distinction, and served as a bridesmaid in my wedding. I will remember her fun side most. She would use her father's dented old panel van when we wanted to go places. If the car ahead of us did not move on soon enough after a stop at a stop sign, she would gently nudge his bumber. I still felt safe riding with her though.
