Tommy was my next door neighbor for so many years.  We spent our childhood playing softball every day,  building treehouses, exloring the "wilds" Bastenchury lake, and swimming in our community pool at San Juan.  Even though we didn't hang out in high school, he will always be in my memories of fun childhood experiences....those innocent days of the 50's ...... good life in a safe and friendly neighborhood.

Farewell Good Buddy, I know you were not ready to leave us. Tom had suffered quietly for quite a few of these last years. With each episode he complied with treatment recommendations, followed through and went back to his real life of engagement in the Joy of Living. He never complained about these restrictions. Tom looked for intellectual and engineering challenges which were more than met when he and Connie fled from the fire threat in Running Springs to Margaretville, NY in the Catskills. They moved into a grand 1895 Queen Anne Victorian which needed the love thay gave it utilizing the skills Tom possessed. To match the house they added a 1932 Ford which they also had restored to pristine condition. They reveled in competing in local car shows dressed in their Edwardian fashions. Always a winning combination. I wish I could attach a gallery of photos of Tom's workshop I created for him a few years ago. Using the carriage house on the property he created an incredible piece of craftmanship and imagination that was featured last fall in "Wood" magazine.

You will not be lost to us, dear friend. We who have been in your life will forever carry you with us in our hearts.
