Tell us about your life and travels since FUHS:

I graduated from Fullerton College and then studied dentistry at the University of Southern California, from which I graduated in 1973. Sandy and I met at USC where she was studying biology, and subsequently graduating and becoming a medical technologist through Queen of Angels Hospital in Los Angeles. We were married in 1975, and she worked for two years at Anaheim Memorial Hospital before having our first child, Andrew. I was in private pratice during that time in La Mirada, CA, while studying theology at Talbot Seminary, one of the graduate schools of Biola University, where I receive a Masters of Theology degree in Missions. Then in 1979 we studied Spanish for a year in Costa Rica, and while back in the US for a couple of months in 1980, our oldest daughter, Melissa, was born in 1980. A few weeks later we moved to Guatemala to serve through the churches there where we have been living and ministering ever since. Our other two children, Laura and David, were born there. All four of our children graduated from high schools in Guatemala, and then did their university studies in California, with Laura returning to Guatemala to marry and serve with us through VERBO Christian Ministries. Andrew is married with four children and has his own insurance business through ALLCO Insurance Company in Fullerton. Melissa is married with two kids and works at Azusa Pacific University in the finance department. David is married and lives in Fresno, California, where he works as a CPA.
God has been very good to bless Sandy and I with a beautiful family and the opportunity to serve Him in Guatemala all these years. We hope to be able to spend the rest of our lives there if that is God's will. We always have room for guests and would love to have anyone visit us so that we could share this wonderful country with you. Our home is close to the airport in Guatemala City, so it is easy to pick you up when you arrive.
