I remember Johnny Z. He was always present at the annual Christmas tree bonfire/weiner roast at a field on west Amerige. He also became a builder of Harley choppers. He was older than I am and I did not know him really well, but I remember him as a nice guy.
I didn't know John, but I sure do remember those bonfires. My friend, Patty Smith, lived right across the street from that field and I attended several of them when I was in the 7th and 8th grades. Sharon Smith Gibson (1961)
