One of my best friends at FUHS. He "mentored" me as the manager of concessions for football games, and we spent a lot of time together in and out of school. Always curious and ambitious and willing to share whatever he had.
We reconnected during his final months and days after I finished my 6 years in the Navy. He was gone WAY too early (around 1974 as I recall), a victim of cancer, but with high spirits and the same positive attitude all the way to the end.
A wonderful, thoughtful, gracious, and generous man with much more to live for than he ever got.
