FUHS 1959
Emer Devirl Barfuss died of cancer on 4/8/2021. He was a highly respected community and LDS church leader who had lived in Highland, Utah for many years. Remarkably, as a widower many years ago with several children, he married Lorena who was a widow with several children. The two of them then had 37 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. As a high school classmate, he was highly respected and obviously destined for important things. What a terrific man he was.

I remeber Devirl as a kind and caring person. I did enjoy our many conversations and could depend on him if i need help. Love knowing he went on to touch so many lives.
