Charles "Chuck" Curtis Oldham - Class Of 1962

Charles "Chuck" Curtis Oldham was born on September 2, 1944 and passed peacefully in his sleep at the age of 72 on November 26, 2016 at his home in Folsom, CA after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. He leaves behind his three children, Beth (Bob) Parkins of Folsom, CA, Matt (Cheryl) Oldham of Folsom, CA and Alison (Alastair) Johnson of Sheffield, England; five amazing grandchildren, Zoe & Joshua Parkins, Caleb Oldham, and Abigail & Isaac Johnson.  He is also survived by Judy Oldham and his six siblings, Janis (Bob) Colville, Sandra Cavanaugh, Barbara (Bill) Martin, Nancy Maravilla, Brian (Michelle Harmeier) Oldham, and Anita (Carol Vance) Oldham.

Chuck was born in Clarion, Iowa to Charlie & Alberta Oldham, grew up in Fullerton, CA and spent the latter half of his life in the Sacramento, CA area.  He graduated from Fullerton High School in 1962, attended and graduated from UCLA and later received his PhD from the Ohio State University.  He served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War.  He spent the majority of his career as a transportation planner for the California Transportation Commission.  Chuck loved to travel, enjoyed the arts and all things music, loved to be amongst God's creation and took great pride in his family.
